As one of the award-winning heritage sites in the Yarra Valley, Mont De Lancey is a must-visit spot for all history lovers. Spend an hour or two and explore this beautiful heritage setting and meet the descendants of a pioneering family. Take a journey back to the mid-1800s and learn more about the lifestyle and the achievements of the pioneers of the Yarra Valley. Also, check out their special exhibits, displays and artworks inside the gallery.
Take a walk through the Homestead which was built in the early 1880s, check out the Heritage Room which houses family records and photographs, St Mary’s Chapel built in 1926 and remains today with original fittings and the beautiful cottage gardens surrounding the property.
The venue also boasts a cafe called ‘Two Peas in their Pod Café’, where guests can enjoy delicious food and refreshments.
